Overview
MCI Contractors is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role is critical in coordinating on-site activities and maintaining strong communication between teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction site operations
- Coordinate subcontractors, labor, and materials
- Ensure project schedules are met
- Maintain quality control and safety standards
- Review plans and specifications with project teams
- Report progress and issues to project management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in construction supervision
- Proven experience managing job sites and teams
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA certification
- Experience in commercial or residential construction in the U.S.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
- Experience working with multiple subcontractors
